Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech at the discussion session of the EU-Western Balkans summit, said that yesterday's summit was a historic event.

Recalling an expression from the Canon / Customary Law, Rama described the leaders of the EU as gods.

Sakaq Rama emphasized that the EU has already understood how important the integration of the Western Balkans is.

"We became so committed to the EU that we made everything go well, not just because we are used to submitting to empires, which is true. We are here to protect the EU, even if they want to leave, we won't let them. Even if we are behind the door and they want to let go of us, since we are in their hands, we will not leave. Yesterday's summit was an extraordinary event, it was the most historic event in the history of Albania. The canon has a very important part where it says "The house of the Albanian is the house of God and of the friend", which means that every friend is the will of God, and as such they must be respected. Yesterday we had gods and friends, because the gods of the EU came to Albania."
