"Without Albanians, the Greek economy would have gone bankrupt"/

During a visit to Crete, Minister of State Taulant Balla shared an impressive moment with a Greek entrepreneur, who emphasized the crucial contribution of Albanians to the economic development of Greece.

"If Albanians had not come to Crete, who are very hardworking, the economy of our country would have stopped. In every new investment that is made in Crete, there are Albanians involved, because they are excellent workers. And honestly, if it were not for the Albanians, the economy would really have a problem. Do you see this house here? It was about to collapse and the Albanians reconstructed it," said Balla.

Minister Balla said that if it weren't for Albanians, the Greek tourism economy would not be what it is today.

"This is the truth that the Greeks say about the Albanians: that the Albanians are a working people and if it weren't for them, the Greek tourist economy wouldn't be like this. They have built everything and with their own hands they carry a great weight in Greece," said Balla.

According to Balla, this evidence shows that Greece and the Albanians of Greece have become irreplaceable for each other.

"Greece and our economy would have gone bankrupt without Albanians," says a Cretan entrepreneur. "Whoever still doubts this truth has their eyes on the ground and their minds off it," Balla said./CNA
