"ODIHR is conducting in-depth election observation"/ Ambassador Gonzato in Fier

EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato was present in the Fier region this afternoon. In a statement to the media, Gonzato said that the ODIHR presence is conducting a very in-depth observation of the electoral process throughout the country.

Regarding his presence in the Fier region, the ambassador said that he went to hold a meeting with the structures of the Fier Prosecutor's Office and SPAK, to see their work.

"The ODIHR presence is in Albania. They are doing a very in-depth observation of the elections throughout Albania. They are watching what is happening. Any reporting will be analyzed in depth.

"As soon as I arrived in Fier, I came because I wanted to meet with the prosecution and SPAK to see the work they are doing. Close cooperation of the institutions, the process is going well, " Gonzato said./ CNA
