Nuraj slapped KAS/ "He received the contributions of the Constitutional

Ledio Nuraj, the legal representative of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that in the decision of the KAS regarding the entry of the Democratic Party into the elections with Enkelejd Alibeajn at the head, he performed the role of the Constitutional Court by entering into the interpretation of certain articles of the Electoral Code.

During an interview with Armela Ferko, Nuraj states that this decision taken by the Appeals and Sanctions Commission is in violation of the law.

"Yesterday, KAS, an administrative body exceeding its powers, produced an act with a judicial content. KAS took on the attributes of the Constitutional Court by entering into the interpretation of certain articles of the Electoral Code and changing them fourfold from those decided by the legislature and are well accepted and applied until now. KAS in its decision completely changed the criteria defined in Article 64, which determine the registration of political parties as electoral subjects, given that KAS with its actions flagrantly violated the Electoral Code, the regulation for the operation of KAS and the code of administrative procedures", said Nuraj./CNA
