The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has given good news for Tirana's municipal police officers this evening.
During the meeting of the Municipal Council, Veliaj said that the time has come to reward the police officers who have been working hard for years.
He emphasized that for this reason it has been decided to increase the salaries of all Tirana municipal policemen from April 1.
"The decision to address the salary increase of the municipal police is also influenced by the government's decision to increase the minimum wage, i.e. from 34,000 ALL to 40,000 ALL on April 1st, so we are satisfied with the increase in the salaries of Municipal Police and it comes into force on April 1, together with the increase of the government's minimum wage", emphasized the mayor of Tirana./ CNA.al
