PD MP Saimir Korreshi has expressed disappointment with the results of the May 14 elections, asserting that there was no competition between the parties.

Korreshi said in a television appearance that the main factor that influenced the defeat of the opposition is its internal problems.

He stated that he had higher expectations in Mallakastër, Roskovec, Divjakë and other municipalities of the country.

"We were disappointed. This time there was no competition. The main factor is the opposition, our problem we have. If there were 2 candidates in Mallakastër, they would have won. Even in Roskovec we could have won because the race was close. I had expectations for the places where we had worked, such as in Divjaka, but regardless of what people do below, the DP situation affects above.
