The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, spoke after the decision of the Court of Appeal to pass the seal to the Democratic Party of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Noka told the media that today is a good day for all democrats and a bad day for Edi Rama's government.

He called on the democrats to join the DP, while he refused that this invitation applied to Lulzim Basha.

"Today is a good day for all Democrats. Their voice, although in the oasis of injustice, judges with integrity were found who gave voice to the truth, which had been dragging on for three years. The truth is that the Democrats are the ones who decide with their own will everything that has to do with the Democratic Party. Our comment is very simple, the Democrats are united, the decision pleases them.

But today is a bad day for the regime because the united democrats from today will have only one mission, the eradication of this narco-regime and the return of hope to Albanians. A divided opposition has ended. A protracted opposition has come to an end.

Today, Albania has a real DP. Today, Albania has a united opposition. A united opposition that will give voice to... The call is for every democrat, your home has been and is DP. This appeal applies to every democrat, but not to those who feel themselves on the side of Edi Rama. Anyone who feels democratic and in opposition to this regime is welcome.

...This is a final decision that completely disposes of this matter. This day is not for celebration, nor for triumph. It is a day of truth where democrats are called to stand together against the narco-regime. The drug regime must be dismantled so that Albania can travel to Europe. Narcoregulation is the only obstacle to Albania's European journey.

And the burden falls on us to lead this battle. I, on behalf of all my colleagues, call on every lied, deceived and misinformed democrat, go back to your house because your house has room for every citizen of this country who is against the narco-regime. We appeal to anyone who is an opponent of the regime, we never appeal to the one who is a servant of this narco-regime... In this oasis of injustice in this country, there is also an island that integrity still leads. These ladies showed that integrity prevails over political orders", stressed Noka./ CNA
