The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech in the Assembly, accused the majority of blocking the rule of law. Berisha said that today's agenda should include a vote on the immunity of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

"As you can see, the pseudo-majority did everything to hide what happened with the appointment of persons related to Belinda Balluk to ministerial positions. What is extremely shocking is that there could be no other issue here than Balluk's immunity. While Albania has chosen the path of integration, the rule of law in Albania is national and international. And for the sake of Edi Rama, you block the rule of law. Dictators have only one end. You are committing an anti-national act. And to these ministers sitting here, I want to say, don't become mercenaries. Don't follow these people," said the leader of the DP.

Among other things, he called on the majority to acknowledge the Serbian genocide in Kosovo, just as they honored Adem Jashari in the session today.

"Secondly, you did very well to honor the legend Adem Jashari, but lower your heads because you do not accept the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. Lower your heads because you deny the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. Two thousand children alone were killed. And then you mourn. You should condemn the Serbian genocide in Kosovo, but you are the banal evil that behaves like automatons," Berisha said. /CNA
