From Berisha's immunity to Investigative Commissions/ 5 draft laws that were approved by the single majority

Today's plenary session started with tensions and Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla, as she has done for several months, immediately started voting on draft laws.

Initially, the majority approved with 75 votes in favor of removing the immunity of the MP for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Then, they approved 5 draft laws, first by clause and then as a whole.

Specifically, draft laws were approved for "Albania's accession to the Union for Nature Conservation", for the agreement with the EU on the maps of the trans-European transport network, for the agreement with Germany on investment in the water sector and on the value added tax.

The last draft law that received approval with the majority votes were the socialist changes in the functioning of the Investigative Commissions./ CNA
