Among the opposition names for Tirana Municipality/ Political scientist Hasimja: If I receive an official proposal, I will make a decision

Political scientist Ermal Hasimja reacted today regarding the discussion of his name as a candidate from the Democratic Party for the Municipality of Tirana.

Through a post on social media, Hasimja writes that he feels appreciated for being included in the list of potential opposition candidates.

Hasimja adds that he will express his position more clearly when he receives an official proposal.

"I feel undoubtedly appreciated that my name has been proposed on the list of potential opposition candidates for Tirana and I thank those who have proposed or supported the idea. When I receive (if I receive) an official proposal, I will be able to think about it and make a decision. I am also glad that the other two names on the list, Florian Hackaj and Edlira Cepani, are people whom I highly value and who would be excellent candidates for the opposition," Hasimja writes./CNA
