CNA reported today that the government has dismissed Safet Gjicin from his position as mayor of Kukes, after a video of him having sex was published in the media.
In a statement to the media, this news was confirmed by the Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj.
"We took the decision to immediately dismiss the mayor of Kukës! ", she said.
Ibrahimaj made this statement responding to the interest of journalists, while not giving more details.
The decision to dismiss Gjic came after the publication of a video in the media and social networks, where Gjic had sex in his office with a girl.
