Today, the new Municipal Council in Pogradec was constituted and Mayor Ilir Xhakolli was sworn in for the second term.

After the oath, Xhakolli thanked the residents of Pogradec for supporting him in these elections and pledged to work to serve everyone without any distinction.

Through a status on social networks, he stated that today the new chapter of Pogradec's transformation officially begins.

From today, together with the members of the council, we started the work for the second term of management of the Pogradec Municipality. The first thanks goes to all the residents of the large municipality for the support given in the elections of May 14. As I have emphasized earlier, this will be the mandate that we move Pogradec to another stage, from a developing city to a developed city.
