KAS clarified the decision for Rrogozhina, "the coalition did not ask for

The Vice-President Oerd Bylykbashi, a few days ago accused KAS as the body that refused the "Together We Win" Coalition, the declaration of invalidity of the elections in Rrogozhin Municipality.

He argued and analyzed the case of voting in Rrogozhin where the candidate Shkëlqim Hoxha lost to the SP candidate with a narrow result in what was called the "Prison Box".

Meanwhile, the KAS clarified the decision regarding Rrogozhina.

As Cna.al warned, in KAS this topic was not asked nor addressed at all by the representatives of the entity under which Shkëlqim Hoxha competed.

In KAS, the invalidity of the prison box was never requested.

Oerd Bylykbashi:

If the KAS had followed the law and the prison box in Rrogozhin would be declared invalid, today we would be in the rerun of elections in Rrogozhin.

Unlike in Kuçova, where the request for invalidity was clear, in Rrogozhin the term "election invalidity" was a topic that should not be touched by either the representatives of the Coalition or the lawyers of candidate Hoxha.

The sessions of the KAS meetings have been public and from those sessions it is understood that the DP representative never requested that the KAS declare the invalidity of the vote in Rrogozhina Prison.

The invalidity of the prison box was never even claimed in the KAS in the case of Rrogozhina.

For Rrogozhina, the complainants wanted to simply remove from the final result, the result of the votes in the prison box claiming the victory at the table and not invalidation according to the Electoral Code.

The demand of "We win together" could practically be paraphrased as:

- remove the vote in the prison from the final table, as it only disrupts work, but do not declare the Prison box invalid, as this is how you disrupt our work.

Complaints about the Prison Box never concluded with any request for the invalidity of voting in Rrogozhina prison.

The Prison box carried the result of the elections and according to the Electoral Code, the invalidity of that box automatically leads to the invalidity of the elections for the entire electoral area.

Everything that Cna.al argued is already confirmed by the discredited decision of KAS for the elections in Rrogozhin.

But the appeal process continues in the Electoral College. In any case, the evidence of the manipulations in the Rrogozhina prison box should be put on the table before the College, and not the demands for winning the elections on the table.
