The mayor arrested for two serious offenses such as corruption and laundering of criminal proceeds, Erion Veliaj, is facing negative comments from citizens on social networks every day.

In almost every post he makes on social media, commenters recall the thefts he has committed against citizens, writing that he deserves to be in prison.

Such comments abound in the mayor's post from the day before.

There are also those commentators who ask him when he will take the friends he left out with him.

We recall that the mayor has been arrested since February 10th after being accused of corruption and money laundering.

After ending up behind bars, he launched a fierce attack on the prosecutor and judge in his case, with intimidation, threats, and blackmail.

Until the decision of the Special Appeal, which decided to leave the mayor in prison after new evidence presented by SPAK prosecutors, Erion Veliaj did not stop the attack for a single day.

After the decision, Mayor Veliaj seems to have softened his tone, but commentators are still not sparing him on social media.
