"On May 11th, we welcome those who could not register"/ Balla meets

The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, was present at a meeting with immigrants in Athens. Balla once again called on immigrants to register for the May 11 elections.

For those who cannot, Balla said they are welcome in Albania.

 

" There are still three days available. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for all those compatriots here in Athens or throughout Greece and the world who can register. Don't forget that on May 11th we will welcome all of you who for one reason or another were unable to register so that you will not be absent on May 11th. Some of you that we met today have expressed this willingness, even though you have 72 hours to complete this process.

This concludes every kind of problem that Albanian emigration has had in Greece, without forgetting the agreement on the double recognition of pensions. Tell me, which of the governments in Albania has opened these issues on the table with the Greek government? Only Edi Rama! It took Rama to come to government for this issue to now be at the level of working groups in Tirana and Athens. On Wednesday, the agreement with Italy will be voted on.

"It makes us proud that we have addressed issues that have worried Albanians in Greece for years, but we are not yet complete, we still need to do more for the Albanian language. This government is the first to initiate and keep the promise made before you in May of last year when Edi Rama said before you that we will launch the Teachers for the Diaspora program ," said Balla./ CNA
