Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, invited to the show "Çim Peka Live" on Syri TV, analyzed the decision expected to be taken tomorrow to dismiss Erion Veliaj from the Tirana Municipal Council.

Këlliçi said that the opposition will vote for the dismissal because it submitted the request on May 12, even though the mayor of Tirana should have faced the opposition over the theater, the incinerator and other issues, he will not be given the opportunity since the decision has been made to "shoot" him.

 

 

"The opposition must do what it requested on May 12th, as this is what the opposition requested on Monday, May 12th, 1 day after the electoral farce about the legal artifice that there was a 3-month absence.

The Constitution, in the case of a deputy, stipulates that he is dismissed when absent without reason, in this case he leaves it evasive.

The majority has decided to shoot Erion Veliaj, after legally shooting him with SPAK.

The news came from the meeting of socialist councilors, they voted for the dismissal on a blank sheet of paper.

These days, news has been circulating that the opposition has merged its votes with the majority, but not because the document was filed by the opposition on May 12. It would be immoral for the opposition not to vote on something it requested on May 12.

In my opinion, it would have been better to confront the opposition in the hall about the Theater, the incinerators and all the issues, but tomorrow remains to be seen.
