Historian Aurel Plasari has announced that the European Court of Auditors published a report on April 7, which reveals very serious facts.

One of the facts is that 7.4 billion euros in subsidies given to NGOs by the EU from 2021-2023 appear to have "disappeared".

The denunciation was made by a French opposition politician who claims that the EU is the most corrupt institution.  

"The European Court of Auditors (ECA) published a report on April 7 that reveals very serious facts. One of them is the fact that 7.4 billion euros in subsidies given to NGOs by the European Union from 2021 to 2023 have - simply - "disappeared."

There is no trace of these billions, the ECA wrote in its report. And we are talking about 7.4 billion euros, which makes up 4% of the EU budget.

The French opposition politician who denounces it is careful to remind the public that these sums, in essence, do not "disappear" for everyone. There is no place in these cases for the theory of billions of euros that "leave no trace". So there are people who have benefited from them and this makes the EU, according to him, the most corrupt institution in the world", writes Plasari./ CNA
