"We are EU fanatics"/ Rama: We do not envisage a veto in Albania's integration process

Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped for several statements to the media a few minutes before the start of the Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference.

Speaking from Brussels, the head of government said that Albania is a country that has always been 100% in line with EU foreign policy.

According to Rama, Albania is a pro-European country and as such a veto on the integration process cannot be imagined.

"Albania is a country that has always been 100% in line with the EU's foreign policy, so we have not felt any pleasure in imagining having a veto, being the most pro-European Union and pro-Atlantic country in Europe, and when I say the most pro-EU country, I am talking about the EU barometer, I am not talking about what we think. We are EU fanatics, so EU fanatics cannot veto EU decisions," Rama said./CNA
