The new schools in Tirana are built everywhere with the same standard, both in the center and in the suburbs. This fact was pointed out by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, during a meeting on the subject of education, held in the "Avni Mula" hall of the "Servete Maçi" school, which is one of the new schools built in the capital.

He explained that very soon schools will be built in some of the areas that have been urbanized recently, such as Astiri, Sauku and Liqeni i Thate.

"For the residents of Sauk, even though we built the new school "Bashkim Fino" in the Student City, there is still a need for two schools, for which we are expropriating two spaces, one at the former Arab hospital, which was abandoned until yesterday, and we will take a part of the courtyard of the Police Academy, where the former parking lot of the Military Police used to be. On one side will be the 9-year-old with the preschool and on the other side will be the gymnasium," he said./ CNA.al
