The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in the activity with the December '90 Group, in commemoration of the "Hero of Democracy", Azem Hajdari, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, stated that Hadari was one of the figures who contributed the most to the overthrow of dictatorship.
Berisha said that the ceremony being held is to tell the hero Adem Hajdari that today he is more alive than ever.
"Today we are gathered here to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birthday of Azem Hajdar, one of the most prominent figures in the history of Albanian freedom. One of the tribunes of our nation's freedom. The man who, with his courage, managed to contribute more than anyone else to the overthrow of the communist dictatorship, the change of systems, the change of eras in Albania.
