ILDA ZHULALI, the name missing from the Albanian Parliament

Candidate for MP on the "open list" of the DP-ASHM in the Tirana District (Municipalities of Tirana, Kamëz, Vorë, Kavajë, Rrogozhinë), one of the Albanian women symbols and models, a name that honors the time of the Albanian world, who is competing for a deserved victory in the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025.

In these 35 years of transition, there are few MPs who have remained in our memory for their cultural or professional level, for the issues brought to the Assembly, on behalf of the voters they represent, for their expertise in discussing or approving laws, for their engagement in public life or debates that concern the country and the nation.

Most of them lead a sedentary parliamentary life, they don't know how to string two words together, so they avoid discussion and don't speak up either in the Assembly or in public. As a rule, this type of MP doesn't have an opinion of his own, because he simply doesn't think.

May 11, 2025 offers us the opportunity, with our free vote, to put an end to the introduction of parliamentary parasites into our representative body and to enable the arrival of personalities with moral, professional and intellectual integrity, who have valuable political, diplomatic and legal expertise and, most importantly, patriotic dedication.

ILDA ZHULALI, the name missing from the Albanian Parliament

One such personality is Ms. ILDA ZHULALI, who is running on the open list of the Democratic Party in Tirana.

ILDA ZHULALI was born on 19.12.1977 in Dibër, into a well-known patriotic family, the daughter of Safet Zhulali - former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Albania.

In 2001, ILDA graduated with a gold medal in the field of international relations at the American College of Thessaloniki, while in 2004 she completed her postgraduate studies in diplomacy with excellent results at the University of Oxford.

With this outstanding academic background and her dedication to work, Ms. Zhulali quickly climbed the career ladder, reaching high state positions such as: Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or Advisor for European Integration and Regional Affairs to the President of the Republic. In these positions, she made a valuable contribution, in particular, to the visa liberalization process, in the drafting of many draft laws, action plans and other documents of strategic importance, at the national and international levels.

Ms. Zhulali is further enriching her long experience as a career diplomat as: Head of the DP's Department of Foreign Relations, a function she will continue to perform from 2022.

In 2023, she was elected as a municipal councilor of Tirana and vice-chair of the Democratic Councilors Group.

She is a member of the Board of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors and a member of the Board of the Alliance of Women Municipal Councilors of Tirana.

ILDA, married to Aldo Bumçi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, former member of the Albanian Parliament, is a model wife and mother.

ILDA ZHULALI, a deserving candidate for deputy in the Albanian Parliament, is as much of Tirana as of Kamza, as of Vora, as of Rrogozhina, as of Kavaja: of the entire Tirana District; of all of Albania and Albania, for she is one of the Albanian women, a symbol and model; for she is a name that brings honor to the time and the Albanian world.

The simple question that is posed to every voter today is this: will we continue to elect irresponsible MPs, who approve policies and laws that lead to the emptying of Albania of Albanians; who auction off pieces of the homeland, in the center of Tirana, on the coast or in protected areas in the south and north of the country; who favor a handful of oligarchs to the detriment of millions of citizens?

Or, finally, will we learn a lesson and use our vote to put an end to these phenomena, by electing responsible people to the Albanian Parliament, with a new vision and ready for a new beginning, in line with our vital interests?

Unlike previous MPs, but also current candidates, ILDA ZHULALI strongly relies on traditional family values, which she considers sacred, as well as the high values ??of freedom and democracy.

ILDË's plans and projects are related to the sustainable development of Albania, to inter-Albanian and Euro-Atlantic integration. Its priorities are related to the uncompromising fight against corruption and abuse of public money and property, to protect the interests of ordinary citizens, not the oligarchs.

The challenges that await us are numerous and not easy at all. But with ILDA ZHULALI in the Albanian Parliament, we will surely succeed!
