The earthquake of November 26/ Berisha commemorates the victims: 51 people lost

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, expressed his condolences to the 51 victims of the 2019 earthquake.

Remembering the lost lives, Berisha qualifies that no one would have lost their lives if the government had been responsible.

"Today is a day in which, three years ago, a heavy, powerful earthquake deeply shook Albania and in the counties of Lezha, Kruja, Durrës, Tirana, caused great material damage, but above all, 51 citizens remained in the ruins of these houses from this earthquake.

Më dramatike, vdekjen e pafajshme të këtyre fëmijëve, grave dhe burrave, në Thumanë dhe Durrës, që dhanë shpirt nën rrënojat e shtëpive të tyre, e bën fakti se të gjithë ata, në rast se ky shtet dhe ky kryeministër, do kishte dëshmuar përgjegjësinë me minimale, do jetonin dhe do ishin të gjallë midis nesh sot.

E them këtë, sepse të gjitha viktimat e Thumanës dhanë shpirt në rrënojat e pallateve të deklaruara të pabanueshme nga tërmeti i shtatorit të atij viti, por babëzia dhe korrupsioni nuk lejoi që ata të largoheshin, të sistemoheshin në banesa të tjera dhe të mos mungonin sot."- u shpreh ai./CNA.al
