The head of the DP Sali Berisha has expressed concern not only about the amendments of the DP that were rejected by the Assembly, but also about an amendment proposed by the socialist deputy Erion Braçe.

According to him, Erion Braçe had no other goal than to free farmers from the increased price of urea, nitrate and other agricultural inputs.

"The opposition presented dozens of amendments to the budget last night. I tell them that they were the most rational proposals.

They ran the gamut, not overlooking any issues created by the crisis.

These amendments were a release of pain and were a message for a radical turn, in the transformation of the budget into a budget for the citizens and not for the thieves of the state.

Every amendment was rejected, including an amendment presented by the socialist deputy, Erion Braçe, which had no other purpose, to free farmers from the increased price of urea, nitrate and other agricultural inputs.

Nothing, not a line, not a word, all with extreme cynicism were rejected.

It remains for the people, it remains for the Albanians to have their say in the coming weeks and months.

The opposition is standing in the battle tooth for tooth with this regime and with continuous protests", said Berisha. /CNA.al
