The Ministry of Culture censors artists/ Denounces PD: flagrant violation of the Constitution

The Democratic Party has denounced the Ministry of Culture, which, through a letter, has ordered all the artists of the Opera and Ballet Theater to notify the Office of Promotion and Image of TKOBAP before every media appearance.

The silencing of artists according to the communist methods of Article 55 for propaganda agitation is the next scandal of the Ministry of Culture. A flagrant violation of the constitution and the labor code.

An illegal and unconstitutional order forces opera and ballet artists of the popular ensemble to obtain permission to give their opinions and express themselves freely. Freedom of expression is guaranteed by the constitution (Article 22) and there is no order from above that can destroy the rights acquired with blood.

Being an artist is above all a free, independent person! These stale documents are an expression of fear that mismanagement and affairs can be freely discussed on portals, media and other mediums.
