The outgoing mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, has described the victory of his opponent, Fredi Beleri, as a victory that does not honor Himara at all.

As Jorgo Goro was asked about the possibility of partial elections and his re-candidacy, he said that he has the trust of the citizens and his party.

"I am in charge of my duties, I am present every day with my citizens, I have their trust, I have the party's trust, I am available to them, for whatever they decide.

This definitely does not honor Himara, and I am on duty and will continue to work," he said.
