DP MP, Lefter Gështenja has revealed how the clashes started at the meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Vula.

Gështenja, invited to the show Now with Erla Mëhilli, said that the tensions first started between the deputies of the DP parliamentary group such as Gazment Bardhi, Saimir Korreshi, Dashnor Sula and others who requested that the process for electing the president be extended in time and part other members of the presidency, not deputies, who insisted on July 15 for the election of the new president.

 "At the meeting of the chairmanship, there were debates, there was ambiguity, it was said that the group will drag out the process for the chairman. Bardhi was the last to speak, among them Gjana, Bejko, Godole who were constructive interrupted him. Gjana and Bejko proposed that the parties come out with a consensual decision.

We were divided into two issues; one part was for July 15, Bardhi asked to negotiate to extend the process in time. The rest of the leadership, who were not MPs, wanted to vote and this was the moment when I, Gaz Bardhi and some of my colleagues decided to leave and not vote.
