The member of the National Council, Silvi Bardhi, in a statement to the media, denounced the "tricks" made by the government in the May 14 elections.

Bardhi spoke specifically about unit 11 in Tirana, where according to her the government has used different methods to minimize the opposition's vote.

According to her, the ways have been different, such as moving the voting center for many voters and not notifying them of this change, or moving their non-citizenship to other municipalities.

The electoral farce, enabled by the heavy machinery of patronage, intimidation, use of administration and vote buying, brought to light what we have been denouncing long before the May 14 elections.

A malignant strategy was followed, against the right to vote for thousands of citizens, by changing the polling stations without any notice, with the sole purpose of frustrating the opposition voters and denying them the right to vote.

One of the cases, among many, has to do with Unit 11 in Tirana.

In this unit, the list of voters, in January 2023, was 51,619 voters.

The final list of voters on April 14, 2023 for unit 11 in Tirana, turned out to be 51,352 voters.

So in 3 months, 267 voters less.

But that's not where the offense is. Of these voters, 15,654 were moved to other polling centers within administrative unit no. 11.

694 voters turned out to have moved to other municipalities such as Tropoja, Kukës, Kamëz, Berat, Has, Krujë, Peqin, Shkodër, Korçë, etc.

In the information obtained from the structures of PD Branch 11, it appears that no PD supporter has been notified, received approval or informed about the relocation and the new center where they would vote.

This has resulted in a significant number of our voters not being able to exercise their constitutional right to vote.

The Democratic Party has denounced several times from this pulpit this genuine scheme against human rights, but has also sued SPAK for changing the voting centers of 1.3 million voters.

Before this anti-constitutional act, SPAK has not reacted yet, because the Special Prosecutor's Office does not affect the elections, because there is Pandora's box that, if opened, will bring down the whole edifice of Rama's power.

The evidence emerging from the audit that the Democratic Party is conducting on the May 14 elections proves what we have repeatedly repeated before the elections.

Edi Rama has received, not the votes of the Albanians, but those who have put the election thieves, patronageists and activists in the bag with his blessing.

May 14 was a farce.
