The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, will compete in the Primary for the municipality of Elbasan, where according to the list, it seems that there will be no other candidate in front of him.

During an interview on the show Log, when asked if leaving the deputy's fine to run weakens the party of Sali Berisha since there have been many departures, Boçi said that such initiatives that come from other leaders strengthen the DP .

“Unë gjykoj që iniciativa të tilla që vijnë dhe nga drejtues të tjerë forcojnë PD-në. Jemi në një betejë që nuk duhet neglizhuar, pasi ka një valencë politike për shkak të zhvillimit të situatave politike në Shqipëri. Angazhime të tilla i shërbejnë PD-së. Edhe iniciativa ime nuk ka nota afrimiteti, janë thjeshtë detyrime politike të pranuara nga ana ime”, tha Boçi.

Ndërsa pyetjes se mos po largohen nga frika se në zgjedhjet e ardhshme, nuk do të jenë më deputetë, Boçi u përgjigj duke thënë se mandatin e tij nuk e ka marrë si benifti i listave, por falë një beteje që mund ta arrijë çdo politikan që ruan kontakten me njerëzit, komunitetin.
