The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech at the Forum held today in Durrës, focused on the floods in the coastal city.

Berisha said that in the last two months, Durrës has exposed the ugly face of the government. According to the chief democrat, Durrës has faced apocalyptic floods and has faced complete ignorance from the local and central government.

Berisha said that these floods in the coastal city were caused by the theft of funds and the malfunctioning of hydropower plants. This case, for the DP leader, is more than sabotage, but an ugly crime.

The chief democrat said that the government officials are behaving like the most brutal occupiers that Albanians have ever had.

 

" Durres has revealed the entire ugly face of this government in the last two months. Durres has known almost apocalyptic floods, never seen before. It has known complete ignorance by the government and the government, complete deception, extreme cynicism. Floods caused by the theft of funds designated for cleaning the sewers and the functioning of the waterworks. Calling it sabotage is an understatement. An ugly crime. Did anyone account for this?
