The MP and political leader of the Democratic Party in Durrës, Oerd Bylykbashi, was present this Tuesday at a meeting in the coastal city as part of the 'Foltores' tour.

In his speech, Bylykbashi said that the mission of the Democrats remains the confrontation with the government led by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Bylykbashi also focused on the weekly protests being held by the opposition, which, according to him, will continue until a caretaker government is established.

"We have resumed meetings to lift our hearts and minds, so that we can face a government and regime like Edi Rama's tooth and nail and overthrow it. It is our duty to take this battle to the end. The days of Rama's regime are numbered. We just need to do everything to overthrow it. It is 1 year since the May 11 elections. You have been the vanguard of the results of the DP in Durres. We have faced difficult days for the DP and you have emerged victorious. For this, as the leader of the Durres District, I am grateful to you. In the face of the entire state machinery, without leaving anything to chance and this shows that if we work hard, I am sure that with the situation that is developing and we are showing it with the protests for weeks. The upcoming protests will lead to a technical government and the DP will win in the upcoming elections," Bylykbashi said./CNA
