Dhimitri Çyfeku was elected chairman of the PD branch in Korça, after winning the race against candidates Eleina Qirici and Harito Zoto.

Çyfeku told CNA that the race was equal and fair, while vowing that the situation of the DP of Korça will change from now on.

"It was a race and the membership decided to entrust me with the leadership of the party. Of course, the race was equal, fair and I am the winner as a result of the confidence given to me by the DP membership. The situation of DP Korça starts to change from today. What was noticed in this process was the unification of the entire membership, towards this process which was successful, was fair, clean and accepted by all. In my judgment, it means that even the rival candidates to me have had approximately the same vision and ambition towards membership. What made the difference was the confidence of the membership in terms of management and unification of structures. This means that they appreciated the experience in my work during the years in PD", declared the newly elected head of PD Korçë./ CNA
