Monday is expected to bring back to work the deputies of the Assembly of Albania.

And while the government will meet on Sunday in an informal meeting, September 2 also marks the start of the new parliamentary session, but with "old" issues. Returning to the Assembly the issue of the mandate of the former socialist minister Olta Xhaçka, may bring debates again.

However, the deputies will have to decide whether or not to take her mandate to the Constitutional Court for review.

From the emergency meeting of the Council of Legislation, held on August 27, where Xhaçka's mandate was discussed, it was decided that the saga of this issue will continue in the session of September 12 in parliament.

Meanwhile, another issue is the People's Advocate, which continues to remain a "hostage" of disputes between the opposition and the majority./CNA
