A series of accusations have been brought against the leader of the PL, Ilir Meta, after the opposition's defeat in the elections. Many political exponents have raised claims that the opposition was harmed by the DP's cooperation with Meta.

But the latter is justified for the coalition with Berisha. He said in an interview with Merita Haklajn that the thesis that is the cause of the election loss is not true.

According to him, this thesis was fed by Prime Minister Edi Rama to hide the public facts of the destruction of the electoral process
