The Head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, has made a statement to the media regarding the progress of the voting process until 16:00.
Celibashi stated that there have been no problems so far, identifying only two cases in Cerrik and Vlora, cases which he said are being verified by the CEC.
" There appear to be no problems from the last communication so far. Only two problems have been reported in Cerrik and Vlora. In Cerrik it has to do with the behavior of an observer, we are verifying whether he is an observer or a citizen. In Vlora there was a discussion between the VC chairperson and the operator regarding identification procedures. And in this case the CEC is verifying what the behavior was.
"If at the moment of closing time there are voters outside the VC, the CEC will verify and allow it ," Celibashi declared./CNA
