The head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, has denied the Democratic Party's claims that there were irregularities in the elections in the Municipality of Mati.
In a press conference, Celibashi stated that the premises used by the bars near the voting centers in this municipality are not related to political parties, but are normal bars.
"We have communicated with the State Police to verify the documentation available to each individual who claims to be engaged in the electoral process, except for 1 or 2 cases, there have been no other problems. We do not currently have such reports. We have a discussion in Mat about some bars that have opened near a voting center, but they are normal bars and have no connection to political parties, we have also clarified this with the political parties that have raised this as a concern", said Celibashi./CNA
