The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, said that there will be penalties against the Municipality of Tirana in case of abuse of electricity.

In the show Now on Euronews Albania, Balluku showed that he is in constant communication with the mayor Veliaj, but added that the Municipality of Tirana will be penalized the same as all other institutions in case of violations.

"This is the municipality of Tirana that will be penalized like all other institutions, it is not excluded. I am always in touch with Erion. only if they do repairs, they should keep the voltage on because they need it to see", said Balluku.

As he said that he had the same communication with the mayor of Durrës about the same situation, Balluku called on the citizens to denounce any violation by the institutions.
