During a television appearance, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha accused the Special Prosecutor's Office of being involved in crime and collaborating with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha also spoke about his arrest, where he said that they failed to control the opposition and that's why they arrested him without facts and evidence.

"They thought they would lock me up in the apartment of oblivion, but they returned me to the political scene. Sali Berisha does not agree with this regime. They failed to control the opposition, they chose to arrest me without any evidence or facts. I have always defended the interest of my country On the basis of official and undeniable documents, I have declared SPAK a criminal organization, because the Prosecutor asks the murderer or the trafficker to change the crime and to manipulate the crime he who bargains with the murderer is as evil as the murderer. There is nothing that compels me to mention lies about SPAK, I am speaking in the words of a European institution."/ CNA
