The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has commented on the messages of the EU ambassador, Silvio Gonzato, who asked for a comprehensive political dialogue in the press conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Asked by journalists if there will be a dialogue with the majority, Berisha said that there is nothing to dialogue with Rama, as he clearly demonstrated by imprisoning the opposition.

"What kind of dialogue Rama is looking for is clearly demonstrated by the imprisonment of the main leaders of the opposition," said Berisha.

Berisha further emphasized that it has never happened before that a progress report was submitted to the Assembly during a plenary session and what happened today was a trap set by Spiropali for the opposition, to find some patronageist and make the scenario as Freddie Bellerin, but that didn't happen.

"I feel regret, the ambassador was invited today to submit the EC report on the day when the parliament was in parliamentary session. Remind the honorable gentleman that this never happened. The reports have been submitted to the parliament headquarters. This trap was organized by Mrs. Spiropali, hoping that some patron Nazi would be found to attack Ambassador Gonzato, but this did not happen," said Berisha./CNA
