DENUNCIATION: Rama will give 5 state institutions for towers
Grigels Muçollari

The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, denounced from the blue headquarters that Prime Minister Edi Rama intends to destroy every green space in Tirana and will concrete every state property.

Muçollari emphasized that Rama together with his collaborators, state buildings such as the Directorate of Taxes near the Dinamo Stadium, the Institute of Technological Studies, the Civil Aviation Authority, the National Water and Sewerage Agency, the former ATSH, will be given to the private sector in order that in these areas to build towers.

He denounced that a friend of Edi Rama, a trafficker, the leader of a gang, had his eye on a building.

STATEMENT OF THE MEMBER OF THE CHAIR OF THE DP, GRIGELS MUÇOLLARI:

"When Edi Rama said 11 years ago that you haven't seen anything yet, he certainly didn't start for the better. He meant that there is even worse. That he can do more damage. As is happening every day.

One of the gangrenes of Tirana and Albania today is concrete. Not only are we often dealing with a big money laundering launderer, but especially with the heavy cost that this has created in the quality of life, in air pollution, in the occupation of public spaces, with urban stress.

You have noticed that everywhere in every corner where there could be a flower garden for children, for the elderly, for every citizen, there this dream does not even last two days, and you see how a big concrete tower grows.

But, as the spokesman for evil has warned, we haven't seen anything yet.

With this decision here, number 328, dated May 29, the doors have been opened for a massive increase of towers in Tirana.

Now that the flower gardens and public spaces are finished, another way has been found for the million-euro skyscrapers.

State buildings will be given to the private sector.

These premises, these properties, which are in coveted areas in Tirana, will be handed over to the Prime Minister's friends to build towers.

Starting from the most expensive places in the capital near the Lake Park, such as the Cadastre offices, the municipality of Paris or the favorite surroundings of Tirana.

The first properties to be put up for sale with the builders are the Tax Directorate near the Dinamo Stadium, the Institute of Technological Studies, the Civil Aviation Authority, the National Water and Sewerage Agency, the former ATSH.

These are just some of the state buildings and properties. There is not much transparency about this next affair, and many details are still unknown.

But what citizens know well is that this initiative is not in the public interest. But one of those pacts that Edi Rama makes with the oligarchs and his clients, which later take legal form and turn into government decisions.

A friend of Edi Rama, a trafficker, the head of a gang or a cartel representative, among those he waits in the office, has probably set his sights on a building. Or some buildings. And that's enough. You don't need more than having Rama as your friend to turn any state property into a million-euro tower.

With this scheme, the clients of the government and Rama get rich. Albanians continue to remain the poorest in Europe and less likely than anyone else on the continent to buy a home.

While the towers are added and added.

Citizens cannot allow a prime minister who has turned the office into the service of oligarchs and dirty money. Reaction is needed, change is needed. Let's unite on Thursday in front of the Assembly and show Edi Rama that Albania is not his private property that he sells and divides as he wants", says Grigel Muçollari./CNA
