Meloni arrives in Gjadër by helicopter, is expected by Rama

The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, arrived a few minutes ago in Gjadër, where she was received by Prime Minister Edi Rama. 

She was transported from Rinas airport to Gjadër by helicopter. 

After the inspection in Gjadër, the counterparts will also inspect the reception center in Shengjin where they will hold the press conference.

According to the agreement, the landing port will be Shengjini, where the first center will be set up that will serve for the identification and registration of refugees, while Gjadri will be the camp for their accommodation while waiting for answers to asylum requests.

The reception center will have a capacity of 3,000 places, while at the end of the evaluation procedures, the Italian authorities will remove the immigrants from the Albanian territory at their own expense./ CNA
