Bylykbashi: The situation with the opposition in the Assembly, an instrument of

Democratic MP, Oerd Bylykbashi, demanded today that the regulation be respected point by point, so that the opposition has its own space in the Assembly and parliamentary committees.

In his speech to the Committee on Legal Affairs, Bykykbashi stated that narrowing the opposition's space for debate and raising issues is simply an instrument of control that should not be transferred.  

"Today's session is to discuss something important, such as the budget of the justice institutions, and beyond that, I want to raise once again clearly, firmly that in this committee and in the Assembly, the regulation must definitely be implemented point by point. One of the reasons is that the opposition has the space it needs in parliament. What is currently happening and this is not an issue that we solve in the committee, is the narrowing of the opposition's space for parliamentary debate, for control instruments and should not be transferred in any case through committees. I ask that in the future, the regulation for the committee be implemented point by point and article by article", - said Bylykbashi./CNA
