Budget 2025/ Koçiu: We finance the fertility package for the first time

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu spoke about the Health and Social Protection budget for 2025 in Parliament.

Koçiu said that in the 2025 budget it is planned to cover 100% of the fertility program for young couples.

"It is the highest ever for MSHMS in the history of the Albanian state. About 3 times higher health budget in a decade and almost 3 times higher our social umbrella budget. The one of 2025 is also the budget of the largest investment package in the health sector as well as the budget that supports the further expansion of the Hospital Autonomy reform. With the 2025 budget, for the first time we will be able to finance 100% and at no cost new programs, such as the fertility program for young couples", she emphasized.

She emphasized that the 2025 budget for the Ministry of Education and Culture supports mothers with many children, orphaned children, victims of violence, people with different abilities, work invalids, former victims, the elderly, young families, as well as all citizens, without difference between them./ CNA
