The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has shown the negative balance of the Water-Sewage company.

During the meeting for the signing of the Agreements for the creation of new water companies, in Pogradec, Balluku listed some of the steps behind this enterprise.

“39% të shoqërive të vjetra të Ujësjellës-Kanalizimeve furnizojnë me më pak se 10 orë ujë në ditë, 28% e Ujësjellës-Kanalizimeve kanë një nivel të humbjeve mbi 67%, 50% e ndërmarrjeve arkëtojnë më pak se 70% të faturave, ndërkohë që 34 ndërmarrje edhe pse janë investuar në total 130 milionë euro vetëm dy vitet e fundit, kanë raportuar rritje të humbjeve. Detyrimet e energjisë ndaj OSHEE-së thellohen çdo vit me 2.5 miliardë lekë dhe ky është një fakt i pandryshueshëm. I përmenda të gjitha këto pasi padyshim disa nga kryetarët e bashkive treguan mbarëvajtje të Ujësjellësave, ndoshta na është dashur të diskutojmë dhe argumentojmë me disa prej jush pse duhet bërë kjo reformë në sistemin e ujësjellës kanalizimeve dhe pse është shumë e rëndësishëm tashmë që të agregohen”, u shpreh ajo.

Më tej, ministrja deklaroi se firmosja e marrëveshjeve do të përmirësojë performancën e secilës ndërmarrje dhe shërbimin për qytetarët.
