The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama towards Bulgaria and has called on them to put him on trial for his criticism of obstructing the negotiation process for Albania and North Macedonia.

According to him, Bulgaria should even ask for a drug test.

"Edi Rama himself is doing everything to block the opening of negotiations with the European Union. The attack and the cold war that Bulgaria has declared against Sofia, a friendly country, and brutally attacks it. How can you deceive 8 years that Bulgaria hindered us. Apologizing to the Bulgarian Government, I call on them to sue him for defamation. But they should also ask for a drug test.
