Today, the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Court of Fact, regarding the case called "Babale", where MP Ervin Salianji was convicted.

The latter was embroiled in a scandal with an audio tap and several forgeries, accused of lying about the denunciations claimed by him, a case that made a big fuss a few years ago.

The legal procedure has come to an end and today Ervin Salianji was sentenced with a final decision by the Court of Appeal.

It is expected that this decision will be clarified very soon, then taken to the Assembly, where the Parliament will determine the punishment, remove the immunity and invalidate his mandate as a member of parliament.

According to the ranking made in the CEC after the announcement of the results of the 2021 elections, the host person on the list is Andrea Mano, the former head of the DP of Korça, who had actually withdrawn from this party for some time, but apparently Salianji's conviction restores Mano to politics , giving him the mandate of deputy in Korça district./ CNA
