The appeal of GJKKO rejected today the request of the former socialist mayor, Lefter Alla, for the relaxation of the security measure and has left the prison arrest in effect.
But Alla's lawyer, Hysni Demiraj, opposed this decision of the GJKKO Appeal, as he said that the former mayor was in a serious state of health.
He declared that they have no choice but to go to Strasbourg if they do not find a solution in the Supreme Court.
"There were contradictions, we will also tell the Supreme Court, then we have to go to the Strasbourg Court. He was in a very serious state of health", said the lawyer, among other things.
We remind you that Lefter Alla did not appear at the session, as he is in the prison hospital due to health problems.
According to SPAK's accusations, Alla used his position as mayor and favored a company to win the tender worth 322 million ALL, for the construction of the water supply in Bulqiza./ CNA.al
