Enkelejd Alibeaj, who a few days ago resigned as the commanding chairman of the DP, spoke this evening about the return of Basha.

Alibeaj expressed support for Basha to run again as chairman of the DP, as he said in a TV appearance that it is not a sin.

"If it were me, I would do this. Come out and make this confession, monologue, as an obligation to this whole 2-year-old, but even more than that, as PD must know what happened. A narrative is needed to tell everything. It's even fairer for the Democrats. We don't know yet if he will run, but there is no sin even if it happens", he said.

Further, Alibeaj was asked if he would vote for Basha if he runs in the race for the head of the DP.

"If I were a voter, I would like to have more candidates. I would like to see in the candidates the idea, the platform of where he believes or pretends to lead PD. First the party then the president. To do battle with the past", he answered./ CNA.al
