Adriatik Lapaj: Rama has made us a funny republic

The leader of the "Albania Becomes" Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama is the country's main problem.

Lapaj made the comments on the show "Now with Erla Mëhillin" on Euronews Albania, where he said that Rama is the man who had the most power during the transition and according to him, the others who stand behind him are simply 'garnishes' of the prime minister.

He also added that the Albanians today live in a republic that is the property of an individual and according to him, the oligarchs are in fact simply employees of the current politics.

"As they say to her, it will fall on the bull's head. The current problem is Edi Rama. Because this is a conductor of a system that in 2008 in collaboration with Sali Berisha, that is, Rama and Berisha in 2008 sewed a suit that fits exactly like it was made to order for Mr. Edi Rama. This is the leader of a republic that he speaks and the rest of us are all mere accessories of a ridiculous republic. Why?

I saw today that he had posted that he had paid 210,000 bonuses for babies born since 2019. I said this is fantastic news. I logged into Instat and verified that the maximum birth rate in these 5 years, in the best year was 28 thousand per year and in 2023 it had dropped to 23 thousand. I collected them, I got 130 thousand children and not 210 thousand children.

Now I said there are three possibilities, either this is a lie, or those who keep the numbers are lying and we pay for nothing, cardboard republic, or we have to verify that Albanian children were not born abroad and this counts here. And what happened, of these 210,000 children were born in Albania and the rest were born abroad who no longer belong to Albania.

We live in a republic today that is owned by an individual. Rama is the man who had the most power alone in the Albanian transition. So the system that has Rama as its symbol must be uprooted.
