"'5D', the battle horse that brought down the leaders of the

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, invited to an interview on "Syri TV", spoke about today's appearance at the GJKKO as a witness for the "5D" file. The MP said that he was not asked about the role of the former mayor of Tirana in this affair even though he was the head of the contracting authority.

Këlliçi said that for him this affair was a battle horse that brought down all the heads of the Municipality of Tirana, but even though it has passed trial, it is incomplete for Erion Veliaj.

" I think the role of the head of the contracting authority would be of interest."

I was asked about the amount of money. They should have asked me about Erion Veliaj's role.

Just as I was asked who the other "2Ds" were and I told them it was Elton Kacidhja and Nesti Angoni alias Arbian Mazniku, I was not asked about Erion Veliaj's role.

There was no comment on Erion Veliaj and Arbian Mazniku, for me again that file is incomplete as long as the one who signed it is Erion Veliaj, as in the case of the incinerator. The 5D file for me has been a battle horse that has brought down all the mayors, the file has gone to trial.

Regarding the ironies of his loss in the race against Erion Velijat in 2023, Këlliçi gave this response:

It was an offensive or ironic question about my candidacy and the 2023 elections. These people are thieves, they are ignorant and they act arrogant. This is the biggest nonsense that happens in this country.
