World-renowned singer Taylor Swift has set another record, taking the top spot on the 2025 global sales charts for the fourth consecutive year and the sixth time in her career.

This prestigious award is given to the artist with the best performance in album and song sales, whether digital, physical or streaming, for the entire year. However, the total sales volume for each artist is not disclosed.

The 36-year-old singer is ahead of K-pop group Stray Kids, who achieved their best ranking to date and are in the top five worldwide for the third consecutive year, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) announced.

The love story between Taylor Swift and American rugby player Travis Kelce, to whom she became engaged in the summer, seems to have played a big role in this. In 2025, which was an important year for Taylor Swift, the documentary series “The End of an Era” was also released, about her big world tour.

The fact that the famous American singer has conquered the top of sales for the sixth time in her career is a “historic achievement”, emphasized Victoria Oakley, CEO of the federation, in her statements in the corresponding press release.
